Each member of staff at our friendly nursery is qualified to NVQ level 3, fully first aid trained, passionate, caring and loves their job.
We treat every child as an individual, and so your child will be a part of a group suitable for their age and learning stage to help them get the best out of their time with us. Each group is cared for by a friendly and kind staff team, with each group having the appropriate staff to children ratio. You will be informed of which group your child is a part of, along with the name of the Key Person allocated to your child.
What’s most important to us is that your child is safe and feels happy and we therefore have a settling in period allowing you to attend a series of short complimentary sessions before your child’s care with us commences. This helps to gradually build up your child’s confidence, as well as familiarity with their new surroundings, staff and absence of parents. We feel that the settling in period is important to help your child to feel comfortable in joining us.
To ensure the best experience for your child, we are registered to care for 26 children over 12 months of age. We do have a waiting list and are always happy to advise you when a vacancy arises.
We are committed to helping children with special needs to learn, develop and play. We treat every child as the individual that they are. Also, we work closely with external agencies to ensure that we are part of your child’s support network.
We are a very caring nursery and ensure that children have equal opportunities and that every child is treated fairly and has the same access to all nursery facilities and equipment. We are passionate about teaching children the importance of diversity and welcome families from all backgrounds. We celebrate all British and International festivals such as Chinese New Year, Caribbean Carnival, Aboriginal Week and American Independence Day.
